Sandy is not dead ( me neither :) )

March 7th, 2006 by kiroukou :: Project, en :: RSS 2.0 :: trackback

I want to make a little post to say that Sandy is not dead !
The 0.3 version is coming, I’ve implemented the major part of features/modifications I wanted to add, but I need more time to finish it completely.

I’ll move to Bordeaux (France) at the end of the month, so I guess the next release will be available once I have an internet connection there.

A good news is that I will have to do some OpenGL in the company where I’m going to work in Bordeaux, so I hope to be able to add some great features during my learning of this famous library.

You can use this period to leave a comment to ask for news features that are missing and that you would like to see added into 0.3 version.

    @Unreality > Billboard feature is allready added (but only static pictures at the moment, not animated MovieClips ).

    @damo > cool. I’m going to work at Thales avionics in The Haillan near Mérignac. At the moment it’s just a six month internship, but I really hope to stay working there.

    Hey mr Thomas,

    I’ve worked a while on a 3D clipping algo as you know, here the result : http://www.foxaweb.com/3d/clip3Dpoly.html (arrows to move the shapes)

    Unfortunetely, It only works with convex polygon n-vertices :(

    Keep in touch !
